Bankwest Stadium was awash with intoxicating sights, sounds, aromas and emotion for the first installment of the Sydney Derby at the Wanderers’ new home.

Fans draped in red, black and sky blue flocked to the stadium and surrounding streets of Parramatta before, during and after the game, serving up a concoction of noise and colour which sparked new life into one of the biggest rivalries in the Hyundai A-League.
