Jada Whyman

Although Jada spent her formative years in Wagga, the talented young keeper is more than familiar with life in Sydney.

At 14 years old, Jada drove from Wagga to Sydney each weekend to play in the Sydney women’s premier league: during this time she received mentoring from Matildas goalkeeper coach Paul Jones and shot-stopper Melissa Barbieri.
In 2013, she was selected to represent Australia at the U17 AFC Championships in China whilst she also represented NSW in the Ultimate Soccer Cup, hosted in Fiji before being named in the Australian U14 All Stars team and awarded Goalkeeper of the Tournament at the National Youth Championships before repeating the feat of being named keeper of the tournament at the 2015 NTC Challenge.
More recently Jada has played for the Macarthur Rams [where she was named Goalkeeper of the Year in NPLW] and NSW Institute while being selected in the U19 Young Matildas for the 2015 AFC Women’s Championships.
Jada signed for the Western Sydney Wanderers in October 2015, making her debut in the Sydney Derby in Round 3 of the Westfield W-League 2015/16 season at Pirtek Stadium.
