NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers have re-signed Jason Trifiro on a one year deal that will keep him at Pirtek Stadium until at least the end of the 2014/15 season.
A Wanderers foundation player, Trifiro has played an increasingly important role with the Red and Black having featured in seven out of eight AFC Champions League fixtures this season.
The midfielder has played 28 times for the Red and Black since signing from the Victorian Premier League and with the highest passing accuracy at the Club will be confident in adding to that number in the coming season.
Trifiro said he couldn-t imagine being anywhere else.
āEvery player in Australia wants to be at the Wanderers so to sign a contract extension at the Club where I started my Hyundai A-League career is very pleasing for me.
āI-ve experienced firsthand what Tony Popovic has done for the players here. He gets the best out of everyone and I look forward to developing further under his guidance.
āBeing with the Wanderers from the very beginning has been an incredible experience and I look forward to continuing that journey.
āHaving finished another successful season I-m already thinking about 2014/15 and can-t wait to open next season with a Champions League Quarter Final.
