Kosta Barbarouses named in All Whites squad for final home games ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026

Western Sydney Wanderers forward Kosta Barbarouses has been named in the New Zealand All Whites squad for their final home fixtures before the FIFA World Cup 2026, taking on Finland and Chile at Eden Park.

Barbarouses, a veteran of 70 international caps with nine goals, brings experience and leadership to the squad as New Zealand prepares for this crucial international window.

The matches form part of the first-ever FIFA Series held in Aotearoa New Zealand, featuring top international competition and meaningful fixtures ahead of the World Cup.

The All Whites squad will see debutant Lachlan Bayliss join alongside Barbarouses, while notable absences include Michael Boxall, Liberato Cacace, Matt Garbett, Nando Pijnaker, Sarpreet Singh, and captain Chris Wood, all expected to return in time for the tournament.

The fixtures kick off on Friday 27 March with Finland at 7pm, followed by Chile on Monday 30 March at 7pm, as the All Whites wrap up their last home matches before the World Cup.
