Wanderer Amor Layouni will link up with the Tunisian national team this international break for their Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches against Libya.
Layouni has been a standout for the Red & Black since arriving in Western Sydney and was very influential in Saturday night’s Sydney Derby demolition which saw him get on the scoresheet twice and provide an assist in the club’s 4-0 victory.
The winger is set to feature in his first match for the national team since 2019 with Tunisia sitting at the top of Group J after one win and one draw.
Layouni has departed Western Sydney immediately to link up with his Tunisian teammates and is one for three Wanderers set to represent their country this international break.
