Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the signing of defender Tiana Jaber ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 Ninja A-League season.
Jaber returns to the Red & Black on a one year deal, following a successful stint with Wellington Phoenix, where she made 39 appearances across two-and-a-half seasons and established herself as a consistent presence in the club’s defensive line.
A product of Western Sydney football, Jaber first made her Ninja A-League debut with the Wanderers in 2020 before going on to represent Newcastle Jets, Western United and Wellington Phoenix. The Lebanese international brings valuable A-League experience back to her hometown club, having accumulated more than 70 appearances across the competition throughout her career.
Football Director Mal Impiombato said Jaber’s return reflects the club’s commitment to bringing high-quality Western Sydney talent back to the Wanderers.
“Bringing Tiana back to the Wanderers is a fantastic outcome for our club. She’s a player who has developed tremendously since first coming through our system and has established herself as one of the competition’s most consistent defenders.”

Wanderers Ninja A-League head coach Geoff Abrahams said Jaber’s return was an important addition as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new campaign.
