The 20-year-old had a breakout A-League 2019/20 season with rivals Melbourne Victory where he featured in 23 matches.
For Lesiotis, the move to the Wanderers under head coach Carl Robinson this season comes at the right time of his career.
“I’m excited, it’s a great step for my career. I think Carl’s a great coach and the club’s fantastic, great facilities, fantastic football plan and I’m really just excited to get on the pitch,” said Lesiotis.
“I’m looking forward to playing and hopefully just getting as many games as I can under my belt.
“It’s huge for my development. Carl loves the young players and he loves developing players like me, that’s the exciting thing that brought me here and he wants to help me get better.
“He wants to push me to get more games, to do well, to get better at things that I’m not good at and to strive at the things I’m good at.”
Lesiotis has played at the Red & Black’s home ground, Wanderland, as an opposition player and can’t wait to now have the members and fans behind him.
“I’m just hungry to play, hungry to play in front of the members and fans at Bankwest Stadium,” said Lesiotis.
“It’s a great stadium, having played a few games there last season the fans are going to make the stadium go crazy.
“I can’t wait to play for the badge and hopefully have a great season personally with the team and hopefully we can get a championship.”
