Letter from CEO Scott Hudson

As we reflect on the season, we want to thank you for your continued support of the Western Sydney Wanderers.

This season has not been good enough for our club, and we know that. Sitting at the bottom of both the A-League Men’s and Women’s competitions is not where we expect to be and it is certainly not where our Members deserve us to be. We’ve fallen short this year, on the pitch and against our own standards, and we take responsibility for that.

But what matters now is what we do next. This club exists to give Western Sydney something to be proud of. When we don’t meet that expectation, we have to own it, learn from it, and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

From our football programs and academy pathway, through to our community and Foundation initiatives, there is strong momentum in key areas of the club that will be important in shaping what comes next.

We are already making changes to reset standards and strengthen how we operate, and we are confident about the direction ahead.

Importantly, we are focused on continuous improvement across every part of the organisation, on and off the pitch, to ensure we are delivering the standards our Members expect and deserve. We are acutely aware that there is nothing more important than winning football matches. But we don’t want to move forward without hearing from you.

Your feedback matters. It helps shape what this club becomes, and it ensures that we stay accountable to the people we exist for – our members and our community.

Please take a few minutes to complete our Member Survey. We genuinely read every response and it directly influences how we improve.

TAKE THE SURVEY

Thank you for sticking with us through a difficult season. We don’t take your support for granted and we’re determined to repay it.

We’ll keep working and we’ll keep listening.

Thank you,
CEO Scott Hudson
