Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Daniel Margush on a two-year deal.
Margush joins the club from a recent stint with Perth Glory after spending the three previous seasons at Adelaide United where he made seven appearances.
The 22-year-old shot stopper has frequented the Australian U23 squad and is set to bolster the Wanderers goalkeeper stocks.
Margush said he was excited to get to work.
“I’ve had a few chats with Carl (head coach Carl Robinson) and he’s been really positive about the opportunities at this club and that’s really exciting to hear that come from the gaffer himself,” said Margush.
“(The Wanderers) is a really good opportunity and I didn’t want to miss out on it, I’m really glad to be here now.
“I can’t wait to learn off both goalkeeper coach Davide del Giovine and goalkeeper Daniel Lopar and that’s really what it’s about. I’ve always got an open mind, taking bits and pieces from everybody. I’m excited about that and hopefully, I can get the best out of myself.”
