Defender Dylan McGowan is feeling right at home at the Red & Black and is ready to get the team back to the top.
McGowan and the Wanderers will have their first official taste of pre-season action with this Saturday night’s clash against Leeds United.
The match will mark the very first game at the newly opened Bankwest Stadium with McGowan ready to turn the Wanderers tide this season.
“It’s certainly familiar and coming in, I know a lot of the boys through either playing against them or with them.
“I think with Western Sydney, the building’s sort of stopped. We’ve built this new training ground, the stadium’s been built and now it’s time to deliver on the field.
“I think for the last couple of years we’ve been somewhat off par, well not somewhat, we’ve not made the finals in three years.
“For a club like this, it’s not acceptable. So this season we’re looking to improve and improve drastically, competing at the top end of the table.”
The Wanderers first competitive fixture of the season will be this Saturday when they take on Leeds United. You can get your tickets here.
