Sunday night’s fixture marked the club’s annual Ronald McDonald House Westmead clash with the club hoping to raise awareness and support the incredible work Ronald McDonald house does in keeping families together.
Part of the match was the half-time penalty shoot-out where Members, children from Ronald McDonald House, Wanderer Alix Roberts and mascots Wesley and Sunny all participated to score goals for cash.
With Wesley between the sticks, Mitsubishi Electric Australia pledged to donate $1,000 per goal scored at half-time to celebrate McHappy Day.
Ten goals were scored in the penalty shoot-out and Mitsubishi Electric Australia proudly donated $10,000 to Ronald McDonald House Westmead.
Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric Australia, Jeremy Needham, said he was proud to be supporting those who need it most in the western Sydney community.
