Venues NSW Chairman John Quayle has announced a search is on for Parramatta Stadium’s first ever naming rights sponsor.

Venues NSW Chairman John Quayle has announced a search is on for Parramatta Stadium-s first ever naming rights sponsor.

Venues NSW has this week invited expressions of interest from potential naming rights sponsors for the iconic regional sporting ground and home of the NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers.

“This is an exceptional opportunity for the right company to associate their brand with Parramatta-s home of sport,” said Mr Quayle.

“More than 28,000 cars pass the stadium every day, making it a highly visible landmark in the Parramatta region.

“Hosting more than 20 major events and 200,000 spectators each year, the stadium is a valuable community asset that will benefit from the investment a naming rights sponsor will bring.”

The Wanderers play 13 home matches in a regular Hyundai A-League season at Parramatta Stadium and the final home game this season against Sydney FC on March 23 is already sold out.

The Wanderers have already secured a home semi-final in April that is certain to be another sell out.

NRL club Parramatta Eels play eight home games at the stadium this season and take three other home games to ANZ Stadium.

Mr Quayle said the naming rights sponsor will gain a significant presence in the Parramatta region.

“Venues NSW is seeking to enter a long-term agreement with the right party and we are excited to take this opportunity to the market,” he said.

Venues NSW is also seeking a naming rights sponsor for Hunter Stadium.

Expressions of interest should be submitted by 28 March 2013.
