Western Sydney Wanderers Assistant Coach Miloš Ninković and forward Kosta Barbarouses have been recognised among the very best in Australian football, named tonight in the Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) A-League Men Team of the Second Decade (2015–2025).
Unveiled at a gala event in Melbourne, the team celebrates ten years of excellence in the A-League Men’s competition, as voted by the players themselves.
Ninković, now Wanderers Assistant Coach, was recognised for his decade-long impact in midfield, where his creativity, composure, and vision helped define an era of attacking football in the competition.
A two-time Johnny Warren Medal winner, his influence has extended beyond the pitch, now shaping the next generation of Wanderers through his role on the coaching staff.
Barbarouses, currently leading the Wanderers’ attacking line, was named among the standout forwards of the past decade.
Renowned for his pace, sharp movement, and ability to deliver in big moments, Barbarouses’ consistency and professionalism have seen him cement a reputation as one of the league’s most dangerous attacking threats.
Their inclusion in the starting XI is not only recognition of their individual excellence but also a reflection of the legacy both have built in Australian football over the past ten years.
