The Wanderers Academy NPL 1 first grade team will take on Sydney United on Sunday afternoon at Sydney United Sports Centre.

The Red & Black will be heading into the match filled with confidence after claiming their first win of the season against Rockdale last weekend.
Kosta Grozos was the star of the match, creating plenty of chances and scoring his first goal of the season in what was a dominant performance by Patrick Zwaanswijk.
Grozos’ younger brother, Peter, also got onto the scoresheet while Rory Jordan continued his fine form to make it three for the Red & Blacl.
Jordan signed for the Wanderers in 2018 after playing his junior football for Marconi and was part of that year’s Championship wining U20s side.
The talented youngster is able to play in central midfield or on either wing and is set to be a big threat for Wanderers in Sunday’s fixture.
Sydney United also come into the match after a recent victory against Sydney FC which has seen them jump to fourth on the ladder with 12 points.
Former Wanderer Yianni Perkatis will be one to watch for United after putting in some great peformances in recent weeks.
United will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they meet on Sunday afternoon.
