The Western Sydney Wanderers will be looking to continue their undefeated run in NPL 2 this Sunday night when they take on Hills Brumbies at Lilys Football Centre.

The Wanderers were able to cement their place in the top two last round after inflicting Blacktown Spartans with their first loss of the season.

A pair of second half goals from substitute Kyle Cimenti sealed the win for the Red & Black, a result that put them only one point behind the Spartans on the ladder.

In a boost for Trevor Morgan’s side, key players Liam Youlley and Tariq Maia return to the squad after missing selection last round due to illness and fatigue.

The Brumbies will be coming into the match looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Bankstown Berries last round, 2-1.

They sit in fourth place, just two points behind the Wanderers and will be keen to stay in touch with the leading pack.

The Brumbies are reportedly contending with a number of injuries in their squad, making Sunday night’s clash against the firing Wanderers an even sterner test.
