The Western Sydney Wanderers NPL 2 will return home to Sydney United Sports Centre when they take on Central Coast Mariners on Saturday night.
The Red & Black will be looking to get back to their winning ways after last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Northern Tigers.
The Mariners will also be coming off a draw in the previous round after a 2-2 result against Parramatta FC.
Central Coast, however, are still undefeated this season and currently lie in third position, boating the league’s second-best defence.
For the Wanderers, Nicholas Suman will be one to watch on Saturday. Suman was only 15-years-old when he made his Wanderers debut during the 2015/16 Foxtel Y-League season.
Suman then joined the Wanderers Academy in 2016, starting with our U18s before progressing up to our NPL 2 side. The 18-year-old defender has also received recognition at an international level, having played for the Young Socceroos.
The last NPL 2 match between these two sides was in August, when the Wanderers came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Kosta Grozos scored a double while Kyle Cimenti also got on the scoresheet for the Red & Black that day.
Entry to Saturday’s match against Central Coast Mariners is FREE for all Wanderers Members.
