The Western Sydney Wanderers NPL 2 team will be looking to make it four consecutive wins in the NPL 2 when they take on Rydalmere Lions at Sydney United Sports Centre.
Rydalmere have had a solid start to the season and are currently in sixth place, with only one loss to their name so far.
The Wanderers defence will need to keep an eye on Lions midfielder Mitchell Gibbs, who has netted four times in five appearances.
For the Wanderers, Andrea Agamemnonos will be one to watch. The central midfielder played junior football for Sydney United before signing for the Wanderers Academy late last year and featured regularly in the Academy’s run to the Foxtel Y-League Grand Final.
Able to play as either defensive midfielder or in a more attacking role, the former Bossley Park High School student has also played for both the NSW and Australian schoolboy teams.
Noah Pagden is another player who has been impressing recently.
The central defender joined the Wanderers Academy in 2016, making his NPL 2 first grade debut as a 16 year old the following year.
Pagden has started every game this season and has also earned international honours having been named in the Australian U18 squad last year.
The last time the Wanderers met with Rydalmere at Sydney United Sports Centre, the Red & Black won 2-0 thanks to a double from Lachlan Scott.
