NSW State Team filled with Wanderers players

A record 16 players from the Wanderers Academy will represent NSW in the upcoming national championships.

The Red & Black will have a heavy representation when 16 Wanderers join the U13 and U14 NSW State Teams when they travel to Coffs Harbour in early October.
With so many players, the number of Wanderers selected outweighed the numbers of every other club and is a testament to the commitment of player development the Wanderers Academy has just one year into its establishment.
Incredibly, the Wanderers have been the most represented club in each of the following:

  • Young Socceroos: six Wanderers
  • Australian Schoolboys: six Wanderers
  • U17 National Team (Joeys): four Wanderers
  • U13 NSW Team (eight Wanderers)
  • U14 NSW Team (seven Wanderers)
