Wanderers legend Shinji Ono has been voted by Wanderers members as the attacking midfielder in the club’s Team of the Decade.
The fan favourite and foundation player featured in over 50 matches for the club over two seasons and scored 10 goals.
Known by the Wanderers faithful as Tensai, the Japanese maestro has left an everlasting mark on the Red & Black and helped guide the club to two successive Grand Finals and a Premiers Plate win.
Shinji Ono will now be honoured in a lapel pin that can be collected by Wanderers members during Season X at Wanderland.
Wanderers members can now place their votes for the club’s wingers in the Team of the Decade.
