Western Sydney Wanderers are hoping to become the first team in Hyundai A-League history to retain the Premiers Plate. The club have chosen six specific opponents to make sure the squad come out of the blocks firing on all cylinders for their first game on October 12, against Central Coast Mariners.
The Wanderers kick off their first pre-season game against Macarthur Rams, at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Wednesday August 7, KO 7.30pm
Seven days later on August 14, the team travels to the countries capital to take on Canberra Olympic, at the AIS Athletics Field, KO 6:15pm
The follow Wednesday evening, August 21, Hyundai A-League rivals, Wellington Phoenix FC are our guests at the Lily Homes Stadium in Seven Hills for a 7:15pm KO.
The final three games of pre-season preparation will commence in September, with Adelaide United FC on Sunday September 22, kick off 2:00pm at the Centrebet Stadium in Penrith.
The blockbuster clash is with Melbourne Victory, as we travel to Kingston Twin Ovals in Tasmania for a 2:00pm kick off on Sunday September 29.
The final game before the Hyundai A-League gets underway is against Bankstown City Lions FC, at Jensen Park, Sefton, on Thursday October 3 for a 7.15pm kick off time.
