Priestman pens two-year scholarship deal

Western Sydney Wanderers FC have confirmed the signing of Oscar Priestman on a two-year scholarship deal.

Signing from the club’s cross-town rivals, Priestman is set to play in his very first season of the A-Leagues with Western Sydney.

The midfielder was part of the Sky Blues U20s squad that lifted the NPL 1 Trophy in 2022 and will be the looking to break into the Red & Black’s first team this season. 

Head coach Marko Rudan said he was looking forward to being part of Oscar’s football journey.

“We are very proud to have Oscar join the Wanderers for the next two seasons as we look to build on his current football foundations,” said Rudan.

Priestman said he was grateful for the opportunity.

“I’m just really grateful to join this great club, you look around at the facilities and the professionalism of the whole place and it’s amazing,” said Priestman.

“I’m just going to work as hard as I can and hopefully contribute to the team having a really successful year.”
