Western Sydney Wanderers Liberty A-League head coach Kat Smith has today confirmed her coaching and support staff line-up for the upcoming season.
Smith will be assisted by long-serving Wanderers Academy coach Peter Kofinas who recently helped the Red & Black get promoted to the National Premier League 1 for the first time in the club’s history as well as guiding the U20s to a Grand Final victory.
Alongside Kofinas will be Trinity Allen who will be fulfilling the role of Goalkeeper Coach for the Liberty A-League side.
In the back-room, Sarah Kelly joins the club as Head of Physiotherapy and brings with her a wealth of experience with previous roles as Head of Performance at Canberra United as well as managing her very own SportsTec Clinic.
Current Legacy Officer at Football NSW and coach at Sydney University, Sam McGowan, joins the line-up as Data Analyst.
Ben Honing has been appointed as Strength and Conditioning coach after previously working in the National Premier League 2 with Hakoah FC.
Harry Footit and Matthew Hutchinson join the club in Assistant Strength and Conditioning and Performance Analyst roles respectively after a number of seasons in sports administration and girls youth football coaching.
Ivka Radas will also be supporting the team both on and off the field in her appointment as the club’s new Liberty A-League Team Manager.
The Wanderers Liberty A-League side will commence their 2022/23 campaign on Saturday 26 November when they travel to Scully Park to take on Newcastle Jets.
