The Sky Blues slumped to a shock 3-1 home loss to Wellington Phoenix in Round 7 and Wanderers winger Sotirio, who netted in his side’s 2-0 victory over Central Coast Mariners, believes weaknesses are there to be exposed.

“I watched a little bit and they didn’t play very well,” the 23-year-old said of Sydney FC.

“They’ll be down on confidence and we’ll definitely capitalise on that on the weekend.

“They lost and we won, so we’ve got the momentum going into the game. They got caught out at the back. Their defensive line was a bit high up and some runs in behind caused them problems.

“That’s the sort of run our front three makes. Whoever is playing will definitely be ready for this weekend.

“They’re a good team, they’ve shown that over the past years, but [we’re] definitely going out to get our revenge on them and show them what we’ve got.”
