South Korean sides crowned 2024 Asian Cup Champions

South Korean teams KSAA and the Red Devils have been crowned the winners of the Wanderers annual Asian Cup tournament hosted at Wanderers Fives.

The tournament saw teams from countries such as Nepal, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan participate in Elite and Community competitions over the last few weeks at Wanderers Fives.

All teams that registered received a full kit representing their nation supplied by the J Cheng Group.

The Elite Division saw KSAA defeat well-known Sydney futsal side Mosaic Metros on penalties to advance to the Final before defeating last year’s Asian Cup Champions Sydney Everest FC.

To secure the double for South Korea, the Red Devils faced Sydney Sikh Sports Club and were crowned the Champions of the Community Division.

The Wanderers would like to thank the NSW Government and the J Cheng Group for their support of the club’s multicultural football tournaments.
