After a long playing career, Stuart moved into his first elite coaching position in 2002 where he spent the next five years as a coach for Bonnet Bay Football Club.
In 2007, Stuart joined the Sutherland Shire Football Association where he coached the development squad. A year later, he would join the Sutherland Sharks with the role of coaching the Metro U11 boys.
Stuart would go on to become head coach of the Metro team to go along with his appointment as head coach of the Metro Far South state title’s team from 2008 until 2012.
In 2011, Stuart was appointed assistant coach of the St. George first grade side in the FNSW Super League.
Following his move to St. George, Stuart was given a coaching role at Endeavour Sports High School’s High Performance Football Program and has overseen this position since 2012.
Stuart was brought on by NPL club Sutherland Sharks in 2012 as head coach of the U13 team before overseeing the development of the U12s, U18s and U16s as head coach.
He is currently assistant coach of the Wanderers NPL U20 team and holds an AFC B Licence.
