The campaign marks the sixth campaign that Chisel and the Wanderers have worked on together, having recently won the Mumbrella Award for Best Fan Engagement Campaign at the 2023 Mumbrella Sports Marketing Awards.

Launching tonight, on the eve of the Wander Women’s blockbuster Sydney Derby at Allianz Stadium, the campaign highlight’s the team’s core values and what it means to represent the Red & Black.

The 60″ debuted tonight across the club’s social channels (@wswanderersfc and @wswanderwomen) will also be used in paid campaigns across television and digital advertising to continue the amplification of the Women’s Game through the club’s award-winning digital agency MURMUR.

The campaign also features Western Sydney R&B artist, Lara D, whose track Hideaway is the soundtrack to the content piece. The Wanderers would like to thank The Area Movement for their ongoing support of the club’s campaigns for the last six years.

Western Sydney Wanderers General Manager of Operations Mark Jensen said the campaign aims to lead the way and inspire the next generation.

“Empowering women in football is at the heart of the Western Sydney Wanderers A-League Women’s team campaign launch,” said Jensen.

“This initiative strives to break barriers, amplify voices, and inspire a new generation of female athletes to thrive on the pitch and beyond. As a club we want to lead the way in championing equality, diversity, and the relentless pursuit of excellence in women’s football.”

Chisel co-founder Zak Kaczmarek spoke about the importance of keeping the momentum going of women’s football.

“This is a really important time for women’s football in Australia, it’s time to build from the success of the World Cup and keep that momentum going, we are super excited to play a small role in that,” said Kaczmarek.

“Emily’s vision and piece of work is fun, and shows just how skilled and unique Western Sydney football culture is.”
