Supporters are invited to play on the very same pitch as their favourite stars from the NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers this Sunday.

In the third instalment of the “Wander and Kick” initiative, fans and families are invited to kick a football around the Parramatta Stadium pitch after the match this Sunday.

After the Wanderers clash with reigning Hyundai A-League Premiers Central Coast Mariners at 6pm, Parramatta Stadium, the hallowed turf of Western Sydney, will be opened up for supporters.

It is another unique way the club connects with the community and inspires young footballers.

“‘The ‘Wander and Kick” has been a success in the past and we wanted to give back to all the people who are coming to watch our football over the summer holidays,” Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman said.

“It is further proof we are making things happen in the community on more than one level and we look for any opportunity to keep our commitment.

“We take pride in our community engagement and we are all about inspiring people through the beauty of football.

“The support we have received over the past few weeks has been outstanding and nothing would make me happier than seeing as many people as possible at Parramatta Stadium in red and black to cheer us on against the reigning Premiers Central Coast Mariners this Sunday.”

The special post match “Wander and Kick” where members and fans will be able to come onto the pitch for their very own kick around will commence twenty minutes after fulltime.

The Wanderers- next home game will be against Central Coast Mariners on Sunday, January 6 at Parramatta Stadium at 6pm.

Kids will be allowed in for free and there will be a “Wander and Kick” opportunity held on the pitch after full time.
