The Wanderers Academy is in with a great chance of claiming National Premier League glory this weekend with four teams playing in the Finals series.

Former Socceroo Milan Blagojevic’s under 20s will play the Northern Tigers in the Grand Final at Valentine Sports Park at 1:00pm.

In what was a tight regular season, the Wanderers finished second on the ladder, just a point behind the Central Coast Mariners and two points ahead of third-placed Northern Tigers.

There has been very little between the Wanderers and Tigers this season with both games ending in draws 2-2 and 3-3.

Geoff Abraham’s under 14s will play Marconi Stallions in the Semi Final at Seymour Shaw Park at 10:30am.

The Red & Black head into the match as strong favourites after stellar performances saw them go undefeated during the regular season.

The U14s have accumulated a 95 goals for and just 10 goals against record and in their previous meeting with Marconi they came out on top 3-0.

On Sunday morning, the Wanderers U13s will be fighting for a place in the Grand Final when they take on APIA Leichhardt Tigers at Lambert Park.

Rob Bradshaw’s side finished the season as Premiers and charged into the Semi Final after a confident 2-0 win over the Central Coast Mariners.

Later in the afternoon, Yianni Tsattalios’ under 16s will play in the Sydney Derby at Lambert Park.

In their last meeting in Round 25, the Wanderers went down to the Sky Blues 1-0 and will be looking for redemption and a place in the Grand Final come Sunday afternoon.
