The Wanderers Academy U15’s side have been crowned the inaugural winners of the Coast Cup hosted by Central Coast Mariners at the Regional Sporting Complex at Tuggerah.
The Wanderers Academy U15’s side have been crowned the inaugural winners of the Coast Cup hosted by the Central Coast Mariners at the Regional Sporting Complex in Tuggerah.
The event took place on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 July with clubs from around the state coming together to participate in the tournament.
The Wanderers U15 topped their group after defeating Central Coast United Red, TSP Far South and TSP South.
The Red & Black went on to defeat cross-city rivals Sydney FC in the Semi Finals 2-0 before going on to defeat Central Coast Mariners in the final 2-0.
Wanderers Academy Technical Director Ian Crook thanked the Central Coast Mariners for a well-organised tournament.
“From everyone at the Wanderers, we’d like to thank the Central Coast Mariners for a fantastic tournament,” said Crook.
“It was a very professional and competitive environment, and we look forward to competing in the Coast Cup next year.”
