Western Sydney Wanderers FC are delighted to announce the partnership extension of JD Sports Australia, who have committed to the Red & Black until the end of the 2024/25 season.
JD Sports are an official Senior Partner and the club’s official Sports Retail Partner and will continue to feature on the right back of the team’s shorts for the Isuzu UTE A-League team.
The extension will take the partnership to its eighth season, with JD Sports joining the Wanderers family back in 2017 when the retailer launched in Australia.
The partnership will continue to see JD Sports engage with the Western Sydney community through a number of activities as well as support the club’s new WanderKid Program, which gives grassroots players FREE entry to all Wanderers home matches.
Western Sydney Wanderers CEO Scott Hudson thanked JD Sports Australia for their unwavering loyalty to the club.
“We would like to thank JD Sports Australia for their ongoing support of the Western Sydney Wanderers ever since their inception in the Australian market,” said Hudson.
“We are excited to have their involvement in our new WanderKid Program and look forward to having them involved in a number of our community activities over the next two seasons.”
Australia and New Zealand JD Sports Chairman Hilton Seskin praised the partnership.
“The Wanderers have been a fantastic partner for JD since we launched in Australia, providing an authentic connection to Western Sydney to help build a loyal and important core customer base,” said Seskin.
“We’re always looking at ways to support the next generation through community projects, and by continuing our partnership with the Wanderers we’re able to expand this work through the WanderKid Program and other initiatives.”
