Perth Glory FC will come out with all guns blazing and the NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers are ready for them.

Captain Michael Beauchamp said the team had done their homework on the Glory and they were ready to snatch the three points for the second time this season in Western Australia when the two meet at Patersons Stadium on Thursday night at 9.45pm AEDT.

“We have seen that in the first 30 minutes they came out hard against Brisbane and we have to deal with that storm in the heat over there,” Beauchamp said.

“So if we can do that then I think physically we can definitely take it to them.

“We have a great fitness level and if we can weather that storm initially then hopefully we can get it over them.

“It is going to be a big match for sure because they are only two points behind us on the table.”

Fourth-placed Wanderers have won three games in a row.

They are bracing themselves for a heavy schedule with three summer games in ten days.

Coach Tony Popovic hinted at some changes in the line-up against Perth and said the squad would be without defenders Adam D-Apuzzo (calf) and Iacopo La Rocca (virus) and forward Tahj Minniecon (soreness).

“We have a few ideas of what we are going to do over there,” he said.

“The players had yesterday off and a light run today so we will assess everyone tonight and tomorrow morning and select a team that we think can get three points in Perth.”

He said he was wary of the heavy schedule ahead but he had confidence in the strength of his squad.

“If we can maintain the clinical finishing that we showed last week (in beating Adelaide 6-1) then when things are not going so well for you then you can still get results,” Popovic said.

“The players are full of confidence but they are a grounded group.

“As a group they did not get too despondent when there were not scoring and we had a bad period in results.

“Our key principle was in performance and if you are playing well then the results will come.”

The Wanderers- next home game will be a blockbuster against Melbourne Victory FC at Parramatta Stadium on January 1 at 6.15pm.

Kids under 13 will be allowed in for free with an adult to all three home games in January.
