Hundreds of supporters descended on Parramatta Westfield to meet the full squad of the NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers today.

Chants and singing rang out through the entire shopping centre as the full squad were introduced on stage and were interviewed by host Andy Paschalidis.

Hundreds of fans filled all five levels of the huge forecourt and sang and cheered for the entire appearance.

The players signed autographs and posed for photographs for an hour and forty minutes.

Some fans had waited for hours and the lines to get on stage to meet their stars snaked through the huge forecourt.

Midfielder Youssouf Hersi said the response from supporters was amazing and the team loved giving them something back.

“This is a huge turn out and I can-t believe how many people come out and support us,” Hersi said.

“Listen to them – they are amazing and I have never seen support like it.”

Hersi, a crowd favourite, said he expected a big turnout of supporters at the next home game against Melbourne Heart FC at Parramatta Stadium on Saturday night.

“People should get in and get their tickets as I think it is going to be a big one on Saturday,” he said.

“Heart are a good team and are in form so after seeing scenes like this today I think we will get a big crowd this weekend.

“Our fans are the best in the league by far.”

Fans had the chance to talk to their favourite players, secure a signature, photograph and even play FIFA 13 against a Wanderer at the Parramatta event.

NRMA Insurance held its popular Boot and Shoot Competition and there were prizes and giveaways, including the chance to be in the NRMA Insurance Dugout on match days.

Paschalidis interviewed every player on stage and he was joined by Club Ambassadors, former Miss Universe Australia Laura Dundovic and Home And Away star Felix Dean.

The Wanderers- next home game is against Melbourne Heart FC on Saturday January 26 at 7.45pm at Parramatta Stadium. Kids will be allowed in for free.
