The vibrant energy of Sydney Olympic Park on a recent Tuesday evening carried more than just the echo of footballs being kicked, it carried a powerful message of inclusion, pride, and community spirit.
This was the setting of the Western Sydney Wanderers’ Weekly Inclusion Program, a free, 10-week after-school clinic designed for participants aged 5 to 18+, tailored specifically for individuals with disabilities.
Expertly delivered by qualified Wanderers coaches, the program fosters fitness, motor skills, social connection, and most importantly, fun in a supportive, judgement-free environment.
Joining in the activities were Wanderers players Josh Brillante and Jordan Holmes, who spent the evening playing alongside participants, offering encouragement, and sharing their experiences both on and off the field.
Their presence not only inspired the young players but also highlighted the club’s strong commitment to creating opportunities for everyone to enjoy football.
