Wanderers Chase Crucial Points on the Road

The Western Sydney Wanderers Ninja A-League team will be looking to turn the page quickly as they travel to McKellar Park this Saturday to take on Canberra United in what promises to be a high-energy clash.

The Red & Black come off a 1-1 draw with Newcastle Jets at CommBank Stadium last weekend. Talia Younis made an electric start, scoring her first goal of the season inside the opening 46 seconds, and the Wanderers created plenty of chances throughout the match.

A late equaliser from Newcastle left the side frustrated, but there were plenty of positives to build on as they aim to keep their Finals hopes alive.

Canberra United arrive after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Perth Glory in Western Australia. Despite a late flurry of chances and strong attacking moments from Emma Hawkins and Jazmin Wardlow, the hosts held on, leaving United determined to respond this weekend.

Every minute will count in what promises to be a gripping encounter, with the Wanderers chasing points and Canberra determined to strike back. Expect twists, intensity, and moments that could define the season.

Kick-off is Saturday 4:30pm at McKellar Park. Be there early to soak up the atmosphere and cheer the Red & Black on as they go in search of three crucial points.
