Wanderers confirm Harding departure

Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the departure of Ninja A-League striker Sophie Harding, effective immediately, following her request for an early termination of her contract due to personal reasons.

Sophie Harding joined the Wanderers ahead of the 2022/23 season, where she quickly became a key player for the Red & Black.

Across her time with the club, Harding has made a total of 58 appearances and scored 18 goals in the league.

The 2023/24 campaign proved to be her breakout year, as she scored 12 goals in 21 appearances, setting a new single-season goal record for the Wanderers and earning the prestigious Julie Dolan Medal.
