Western Sydney Wanderers FC have tonight parted ways with defender Tomi Mrcela with the club allowing the player to pursue an opportunity overseas.
Mrcela joined the Wanderers back in February 2022, originally as an injury-replacement player, and was immediately part of the action making 12 appearances in his first season at the Red & Black.
The defender then re-signed with the club last June and became a permanent part of the Wanderers defence, playing in almost every match of the 2023/24 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
The Wanderers would like to thank Tomi for his contribution to the club over the last season and a half, and wish him all the best overseas.
