The Wanderers Foundation has today launched their 2024 Winter Appeal to raise much-needed funds to expand current community programs.

The Wanderers Foundation was established in 2020 to directly make a difference to initiatives that will make a positive impact in the Western Sydney community.
Donations to the 2024 Winter Appeal will help the Wanderers Foundation continue to expand community programs in these areas:
- Weekly football sessions held at Karabi Community Centre in Constitution Hill for 40 disadvantaged and marginalised Indigenous youths
- Weekly football training sessions for 150 Sudanese youths as part of the Nexus Soccer Solutions Program held at the state-of-the-art Wanderers Fives facility in Rooty Hill
- A ten-week African Cup tournament with over 600 players and thousands of spectators from the African community involved in a festival of football
- The Future Wander Women Program which is an opportunity to be discovered, mentored and developed as the next superstar in Western Sydney
- Female Football Cup held with 40 teams participating and close to 500 players involved
- Funding of the club’s Powerchair Team and a reserve team representing in state and national competitions
- Support of over 500 children with a disability via our work with dozens of support units in schools across Western Sydney
- Working closely with over 40 youths within the justice system at Cobham and Reiby Youth Justice Centres
- 6,500 school kids engaged through the Wanderers FREE Active Schools Program
- 90 schools involved in our annual Schools Cup tournament
All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible if donating through the Wanderers page on the Australian Sports Foundation website.
