The Wanderers Girls Academy continues to demonstrate the strength and consistency of its development pathway, with the club’s last three A-League Women signings all progressing through the Academy system.
Alvina Khoshaba, Frida Karaberis and Allyssa Ng Saad have each advanced through the Wanderers’ junior and senior development environments to secure professional contracts with the club, underlining the effectiveness of the club’s high-performance pathway in Western Sydney.
The trio represent different stages of that pathway, from emerging youth talent through to established A-League contributors, highlighting the structured progression available for players within the Wanderers system and the opportunities provided to transition into the senior professional environment at the Wanderers.
Alvina Khoshaba has developed through the Wanderers Academy from its early integration into the club’s National Premier League program, progressing into the A-League Women squad where she has earned senior appearances.
Her recent two-year contract extension reflects her continued development and the club’s confidence in her long-term growth.
Frida Karaberis joined the Wanderers Academy as a teenager and has quickly progressed through the club’s elite development structure.
She continues to train and develop within the high-performance environment, with her long-term contract reflecting both her potential and the club’s investment in her future.
Allyssa Ng Saad arrived at the Wanderers following a strong National Premier League campaign and quickly transitioned into the A-League Women setup.
She went on to make 17 appearances during a breakout season, scoring twice and earning the club’s inaugural A-League Women Young Player of the Year award, before signing a new two-year deal.
Her progression highlights the ability for players to move quickly from the Academy and NPL environment into senior football when performances merit opportunity, reinforcing the club’s commitment to rewarding development and form.
