Western Sydney Wanderers FC recently held their 10th Parliamentary Friends of the Wanderers event at the Parliament of New South Wales.
The Parliamentary Friends of the Wanderers is a bipartisan group of New South Wales Members of Parliament who support football and the Wanderers efforts in growing football fandom and participation in Western Sydney.
The club’s 10th annual event, hosted at the Parliament of New South Wales, was a special event to support the start of the club’s Liberty A-Leagues season with head coach Kat Smith and a number of players in attendance.
The event was also an opportunity to thank the efforts and support from outgoing Co-Chairs Guy Zangari and Dr Geoff Lee who have both passionately supported the Wanderers and their Parliamentary Friends of the Wanderers group for a number of years.
