The Western Sydney Wanderers are proud to announce the signings of goalkeeper Nicole Simonsen, midfielder Jennifer Bisset and defender Alexandra Huynh for the upcoming Westfield W-League season.

Goalkeeper Simonsen joins the Red & Black after a strong season with PS4 NPL Women’s side Manly United FC and was part of the Championship team that won the Grand Final earlier this year.

Simonsen will boost the Wanderers’ goalkeeper stocks joining alongside Jada Whyman and Trudy Burke.

Midfielder Jennifer Bisset makes the move to the Wanderers after achieving a number of successes both on the international and domestic stage.

Bisset has spent six seasons in the Westfield W-League with Canberra United where she won the W-League in season 2011/12 and 2014/15.

The experienced midfielder has also won silverware abroad with Finnish side Pallokerho-35 Vantaa, where she won the Women’s Cup and was runner-up in the Naisten Liiga.

Local girl Alexandra Huynh returns to the Wanderers after playing with the Blacktown Spartans in the PS4 NPL.

Huynh has spent a number of years abroad in the US College System and was part of the Wanderers’ inaugural Westfield W-League squad as a youngster where she featured in 12 matches.

The trio will all be available for selection this weekend as the Wanderers kick-off their Westfield W-League season against Newcastle Jets in Sunday’s double header at McDonald Jones Stadium.
