Jumpei

Born on 27 August 1987 in Shiga, Japan, winger Jumpei Kusukami made his debut for J-League heavyweights Kawasai Frontale in 2009.

Jumpei established himself as a key player for Frontale in the following season and went on to make over 70 appearances in four seasons total at the club, scoring nine goals and featuring in the 2010 AFC Champions League campaign.

In 2013, Jumpei signed for Cerezo Osaka where he would spend the next two seasons, receiving 72 appearances in total.

After a season with J-League newcomers Sagan Tosu, Jumpei signed for the Wanderers in July 2016 and made his Red & Black debut against Edgeworth Eagles in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16.

After a barn-storming start to the season where he excited fans with his unpredictability and adventurous runs, Jumpei was announced as the Wanderers’ Player of the Month for October.
