Wanderers’ Player of the Month for February announced!


February’s Player of the Month has been decided with Wanderers’ Members voting in their winner out of the three nominees.

Nominees for the month included Brendon Santalab, Vedran Janjetovic and Kearyn Baccus with Janjetovic taking out the honours.

Janjetovic will be presented with his award by the Member of the Month winner at a training session soon.

Vedran Janjetovic

Vedran Janjetovic began his career in Sydney’s West at Hurstville City Minotaurs before moving to local sides including Stanmore Hawks, Sydney Olympic and Leichhardt Tigers.

Janjetovic spent five years at Sydney United 58 before joining the Hyundai A-League with Sydney FC in June 2012. The keeper cemented the starting spot a season later, playing every minute of both the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons. 
In December 2016, the Cecil Hills resident inked an 18-month contract with the Wanderers and made his debut for the Red & Black in Round 14 of the Hyundai A-League against Melbourne City.
