Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the re-signing of goalkeeper Shamiran Khamis for the upcoming Liberty A-Leagues season.
Khamis is set to play in her third stint for the Red & Black this season having been with the club last season as well as back in 2014.
The keeper has been part of the Liberty A-League competition since 2011 having played for the likes of Melbourne Victory, Canberra United and the club’s cross-town rivals.
Khamis brings a winning mentality to the squad, having previously won the Liberty A-League competition and been crowned the runner-up twice, and comes to the club off the back of a great season in the Football NSW National Premier League Women’s with Macarthur Rams.
With the Rams, Khamis featured in 11 matches and was part of the side that won the 2022 Football NSW National Premier League competition.
The Red & Black will kick off their campaign this Saturday when they take on Newcastle Jets in Tamworth.
