Western Sydney Wanderers FC are delighted to announce the re-signing of midfielder Liana Danaskos for the upcoming Westfield W-League season.
Danaskos re-joins the Red & Black after a recent spell in the National Premier League NSW Women’s competition for Illawarra Stingrays where she made her return from injury.
A creative and crafty midfielder, Danaskos will add some depth to the Wanderers Westfield W-League squad this season.
Returning this season to the new facilities and a new team, Danaskos said she was eager to get to work.
“From the moment I walked in, it was unreal. It was a really nice feel to the new environment we have here and obviously the facilities are unreal so having that has really grown the professionalism,” said Danasksos.
“I’m really looking forward to playing and I really want to get as much game time as I can.
“To put that shirt ton every week is my goal so I think it’ll be a really good season.”
