van Egmond will be joined on the sidelines by assistants Milos Ninkovic and Damir Prodanovic, as the Wanderers look to turn promising performances into points and ignite momentum in front of their home members and fans.

Perth Glory travel to CommBank Stadium off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Brisbane Roar last round. Adam Taggart opened the scoring for Glory before Brisbane hit back through Chris Long and Sam Klein, highlighting the resilience the visitors will bring into Sunday’s game as they look to rebound.

The Wanderers come into the match after a narrow 2-1 defeat to Newcastle Jets. Despite trailing early, the team showed plenty of fight, with substitute Awan Lual scoring his first Isuzu UTE A-League goal and Hiroshi Ibusuki making an immediate impact off the bench.

While the result didn’t go their way, the performance offered plenty of positives to build on as the squad continues to develop under van Egmond.

The last meeting between these sides saw Perth Glory claim a 1-0 win at HBF Park, with Sebastian Despotovski scoring his first-ever A-League goal.

Even after Glory were reduced to ten players, the Wanderers came close to equalising on multiple occasions, with key efforts from Kosta Barbarouses and Bozhidar Kraev narrowly kept out by Glory goalkeeper Matt Sutton.

That match showed the Wanderers can create opportunities against a strong opponent, and they’ll be hoping to turn those chances into goals this weekend at Wanderland.
