Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the signing of Bozhidar Kraev from Wellington Phoenix for the next two Isuzu UTE A-League seasons.
The Bulgarian international played 54 games for the Phoenix over two seasons, scoring 13 goals as an attacking midfielder during his tenure for the team.
Kraev also has a significant international record, representing Bulgaria on 24 separate occasions, and winning the Danish Super League with club Midtjylland.

Playing against Western Sydney Wanderers on several occasions, Kraev said he is excited to don the red and black.
“What brings me here is my personal motivation to play in a very good club, which I believe that Western Sydney Wanderers is. I received amazing interest from the club, which made me feel like I was wanted here, which is most important for a player.”
“As a player, I think I can bring a lot of creativity and experience to the team. I am a team player who can help my teammates.”

Kraev also said that he wants to see the club back as a top contender within the Isuzu UTE A-league.
“I hope I achieve a successful season individually and collectively, and bring Western Sydney Wanderers back to where I think they deserve to be – around the top teams in Australia.”
