Wanderers sign Chloe Logarzo Berryhill for remainder of Ninja A-League season

Western Sydney Wanderers FC are very proud to announce the signing of Chloe Logarzo Berryhill for the remainder of the Ninja A-League season.

Chloe returns to Australia after building an extensive and highly respected career both domestically and internationally. She began her senior journey as a teenager at the club’s crosstown rivals, quickly establishing herself as a dynamic presence in midfield and helping the club capture the W‑League Championship in 2012/13.

Over the years, Chloe has played for clubs across Australia, including Newcastle Jets and Western United, and has experienced top-flight football overseas with stints in Sweden, Norway, England, United States and Italy.

Her overseas experience includes time with Eskilstuna United, Avaldsnes IL, Bristol City W.F.C., Kansas City Current, a loan spell with Washington Spirit, and more recently Como 1907, showcasing her adaptability and consistency at the highest level.

A long-serving member of the CommBank Matildas, Chloe has represented Australia at two Olympic Games and played in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, earning more than 50 caps and scoring multiple goals for Australia.

Her international experience combined with her leadership and technical ability makes her a very powerful addition to the Wanderers squad.

Chloe’s arrival strengthens the Wanderers’ midfield as the club looks to build momentum through the second half of the Ninja A-League season. Her creativity, experience and determination on the field will provide a boost to both teammates and Wanderers members and fans as the club continues their push for success.

Western Sydney Wanderers head coach Geoff Abrahams spoke highly of Chloe and her arrival at the Red & Black.

“Chloe’s signing is another clear sign of intent for our Women’s Program. She brings a wealth of experience at the highest level and has an incredible understanding of what it takes to compete internationally,” said Abrahams.

“She’s passionate about mentoring our younger players and showing them what it takes to perform at the top, while also maintaining her own personal ambitions.

“Chloe is extremely motivated, fit, and ready to make an immediate impact for the Wanderers. Her arrival not only strengthens our squad on the field but also lifts the standards and expectations across our program.”

Chloe Logarzo Berryhill said she had many motivations to come return to Western Sydney, linking up with many faces from her childhood.

“I had a few agendas coming to the Wanderers. Obviously, I need to come home to try and get some game time before the Asian Cup,” said Chloe.

“But mostly it was to be around my family to enjoy my football as this is my last year of playing and I really want to have a full circle moment come back to Sydney where I, where I grew up and be around specific people like Alen Stajcic and Amy Harrison and Liv Price and Sham Khamis.

“My aspirations for the remainder of the season is just to be able to slot in and help the girls, keep trending in an upward direction. I think the team is doing really well.

“I came home to give myself the best opportunity to try and make the Asian Cup team. And for me, that’s just about playing as many minutes as I can in front of Joe (Montemurro) and do what I can. And if I am meant to be selected in the team, then I’ll get selected. But if not, I’m going to keep working hard, put my head down, and give what I can to this club and my career in a positive note.”
