As football participation continues to grow in Goulburn and regional New South Wales, the Wanderers are set to continue their commitment to increasing their accessibility to quality coaching and football opportunities through the club’s community clinics program.
The Red & Black will host a Goulburn football takeover this Sunday with two clinic sessions for 5-8 and 9-12 year old age groups which will be led by experienced Wanderers Academy coaches before running the Southern Tablelands FA Representative Players through their paces at Cookbundoon Sporting Complex.
While the clinics will run all day, off the pitch there will be Wanderers inflatables for kids activities and a player appearance from Wanderers Medal 2022 winner Keanu Baccus.
Western Sydney Wanderers CEO Scott Hudson said the clinics were part of the Wanderers ongoing commitment to servicing regional communities.
“After a number of years of COVID, we are delighted to finally be heading back out into the community to provide more opportunities to young footballers in Goulburn and the Southern Tablelands,” said Hudson.
“We hope that this free clinic can kickstart the work we can do in regional New South Wales and we look forward to hosting more opportunities like this in the future.”
