As part of Female Football Week celebrations, Western Sydney Wanderers FC is excited to announce a FREE Girls Skills Clinic on Friday 2 May at Wanderers Fives in Rooty Hill.
This special event aims to inspire and develop the next generation of female footballers, providing an inclusive and engaging experience for young girls in the region thanks to the NSW Government.
The clinic will cater to three age groups, ensuring tailored skill development and fun for all participants:
- 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (5–8-year-olds)
- 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM (9–12-year-olds)
- 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM (13+ years)
With a goal of 540 participants across the sessions, the clinic will provide an immersive football experience, with A-League Women’s staff assisting in running the sessions.
Additionally, Ninja A-League Players players will be in attendance, creating a unique opportunity for young players to learn from some of the best in the game.
Beyond football, the event will deliver a festival-like atmosphere with a range of entertainment and activities, including:
- Live DJ to set the mood
- Food trucks serving up delicious options
- Face painting and hair braiding for added fun
- Official merchandise set up for fans
- Ninja A-League Player meet and greet for special moments with young fans
- NPA Events activations
Female Football Week is a nationwide initiative celebrating the growth and achievements of women in football, and the Wanderers are proud to support and uplift the female football community in Western Sydney.
