Western Sydney Wanderers FC, through the Wanderers Foundation, will be raising awareness of and recognizing the incredible work that people of All Abilities and NDIS Service Providers do in the Western Sydney community at this Sunday’s match against Newcastle Jets at CommBank Stadium.

All Abilities is one of the three pillars of the Wanderers Foundation and has been a huge focus of the club’s community programs across Western Sydney.
The Wanderers Foundation has supported hundreds of children with a disability through programs run in Aspect Schools as well as running All Abilities Football Gala Days at the Wanderers Fives facility.
The Foundation has also supported the Western Sydney Wanderers Powerchair Team to ensure that people with disabilities are given the respect and opportunities that they deserve.
At Sunday’s match against Newcastle Jets, the Western Sydney Wanderers have distributed over 500 free tickets to All Abilities and NDIS Service Providers with attendees taking part in a half-time lap of honour at CommBank Stadium.
The club’s 50-50 Charity Raffle will also be back at the match with all funds raised from members and fans attending going towards supporting the Wanderers Foundation’s All Abilities Programs.
The match day is supported by partners Beyond Care, The Benevolent Society, McCall Gardens, NOVA Employment and Support Agency.
Western Sydney Wanderers CEO Scott Hudson spoke about the importance of the match and the overwhelming support the club has received.
“The Western Sydney Wanderers have a responsibility to support the community using football as a vehicle to bring people together,” said Hudson.
“We are very proud this Sunday to recognise people of All Abilities and the incredible work the Wanderers Foundation, together with NDIS Service Providers, has had over the last year to create opportunities for hundreds of families and individuals to play football in a safe and encouraging environment.
“We cannot thank our match day partners Beyond Care, The Benevolent Society, McCall Gardens, NOVA Employment and Support Agency enough for their generosity in supporting our match day and community programs.
“We hope that with this support we can make this an annual event and continue to our expand our programs in years to come.”
Beyond Care Director of Operations Guarav Jairath said he was looking forward to give back to the community.
“It is a great opportunity for Beyond Care to partner with the Western Sydney Wanderers to celebrate the All Abilities game, as well as give back to the community and acknowledge the ability of each individual.”
The Benevolent Society Deputy Manager of the Carer Gateway Michelle Williams spoke about the shared vision between the Wanderers and Benevolent.
“The Benevolent Society – Carer Gateway is incredibly excited to partner with the Western Sydney Wanderers who align perfectly with our values and vision. This partnership will increase awareness regarding the support and services that Carer Gateway offers to assist carers in their caring role. Our goal is to empower people to live their best lives.”
McCall Gardens Chief Operations Officer Belinda Reeves was proud to strive for a common goal with the Wanderers.
“McCall’s vision is to be a leader of a community focused on ability. Working with likeminded organizations like the Western Sydney Wanderers is a privilege, as we both strive for that common goal.”
Nova Employment CEO Martin Wren said he was excited to support the All Abilities Recognition Match.
“NOVA Employment is very excited to support this great community event and we are looking forward to a great game.”
Support Agency General Manager Nikki Frances said it was important to highlight inclusivity.
